Muslim Doctor express her delight over Duterte fulfilling his promise to provide cheaper medicines for Filipinos.

Facebook netizen Rolaiza Mimi Singayao recently took to the popular social media site to express her delight over President Rodrigo Duterte fulfilling his promise to provide cheaper medicines for Filipinos.

In her post, Singayao said that it was only President Duterte who had the guts to finally refuse getting medicines from big multinational pharmaceutical companies. These big companies is the reason why medicines in the Philippines have been expensive.

According to Singayao, the administration has started getting the much needed medicines from companies in India.

Singayao also shared how when she was still fulfilling her medical residency, the mother of one of her patients came to her saying how they cannot afford getting the medicines for her children.

It was then that Singayao felt extreme compassion towards the mother, as well to the rest of the families that she knows struggles to get the medicines that they need in order to stay alive.

She also shared that there are a lot of times she felt helpless holding the hand of a dying patient simply because they cannot administer the necessary medicines to them because they did not have enough money to pay for it.

All of these harms will no longer happen, said Singayao, because of the efforts of the President to resist the call of capitalism.

Manigas kayo! This is it! A gov't that finally has the damn guts to pull the rug under your well-heeled shoes!

We deal with biggies and oligarchs. Mata sa mata. This President is NOT THEIR BOY. He is nobody's boy.

The President promised and so, we shall get far cheaper medicines! Sa wakas, matapos ang napakaraming mga taon that the other administrations were apathetic or just can't or doesn't want to deal with the issue of horrendous prices of medicines in the Philippines.

These drug companies held the Filipinos practically in hostage with the doctors knowingly or unknowingly as their accomplices. The Generic Law made a mute decor, rendered toothless and unable to protect the interests and LIVES especially of the poor.

Now, this "promdi" , bastos at "walang finesse" mayor from the Mindanao will once again shake an industry that has blood in its hands. Sobrang mahal mga gamot ninyo! Ayaw ni Mayor ng ganyan. Gusto nya komportable at may gamot si Pilipino. Nag go na sya sa India, announced that one of his purpose is for India's pharmaceuticals. Yes! The floodgates for cheaper medicines to the Filipinos has opened.

During my residency training in Internal Medicine, may pasyenteng literal na iniwan ng ina sa akin. "Uuwi na ako sa isla. May mga anak pa ako na maliliit. Wala kaming pera pambili ng gamot. Ikaw na magpalibing sa anak ko."

Lumaban kami.

So, patay na.

I stood in the Ward, clinging to his scrawny lifeless hand. With muted curses in my lips. Sinong sisigawan ko? Imperyalismo? Burukrata-kapitalismo?

Sumpa man. Ngunit naulit at naulit at naulit pa eto.

May gamot at kalinga.

Kaya salamat, maraming salamat, Mr. President!

Bayad na bayad na ako!"

We need to keep reminding ourselves how destructive corruption is, especially for developing countries like ours," Ramos said.

The figure is equivalent to some 1.4 million housing for the poor, medical assistance for around 7 million Filipinos, or a rice buffer stock that can last for more than a year, he added.

With that amount, no Filipino would get hungry.” he said.

The summit, attended by officials of government agencies and various community sectors, seeks to improve crime situation through effective strategies on how to combat criminality including crimes of corruption.

According to Napolcom vice chairman and executive officer Rogelio Casurao, the results of the summit will help rationalize the framework for crime prevention for the next three years of the Duterte administration.

The ultimate goal is peace and order thru intensifying anti-crime initiatives," he said.

Expert warned PNoy about Dengavia but he did not listen

Dr. Scott Halstead, a US-based scientist who specializes in dengue research, sent a video recording dated December 2016 to the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee to explain how he had warned the Aquino administration about the dangers of Dengvaxia but they did not listen.

According to Halstead, he already started to worry when he heard the news about the mass vaccination.

Halstead said his first warning was to say that the vaccine must not be administered to seronegative individuals.

He added that when we could not do anything about stopping the mass vaccination altogether, he did try to stop it being administered to seronegative individuals.

Halstead sent his video via Dr. Antonio Dans, a local health advocate, who then presented it to the Blue Ribbon committee on December 6, 2016.

When given to somebody who has had one or more dengue infections, Dengvaxia boosts the immunity status and one is fairly protected. That’s wonderful. If you’re seronegative…and you get vaccinated, your first infection may put you in the hospital, and maybe worse,” he aid in the video.

If they had just followed and heard Halstead’s call, 10 percent of the 368,000 children vaccinated in 2017 would not have feared the risk of severe dengue.

Halstead said they could have screened the children first. To which Health Secretary Paulyn Ubial said, “It would have been very tedious and expensive, and it would negate the cost-effectiveness of the intervention. Besides we had other data that infection rate was high.”

Former Health Secretary Janette Garin said that there are no tests to properly administer this, to which Halstead refuting, saying that there are many other options.

It took another fifteen months, on November 29, 2017, before Sanofi-Pasteur released independent findings that confirmed Halstead was right all along.

What I said two years ago is exactly what Sanofi is saying now,” Halstead said.

The list goes beyond Sanofi. The World Health Organization saw the same data that I saw, but they came to a completely opposite conclusion. I’m also angry at my fellow dengue scientists. Where are all those brave scientists?” he added.

It is still unclear why the Aquino camp did not listen to the invites. Halstead on the other hand insists that the government do something more in order to ave the lives of the children.

Put them on a special watchlist,” he said. “Alert their parents, the doctors and their schools. Make sure you know who they are. That’s really the only thing you can do now,” he said.

Lacson: Trillanes part of ouster plot against Duterte

Senator Panfilo Lacson said Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is part of those behind who wants to destabilize the Duterte administration.

Lacson said he knows what destabilization looks like since he was part of it during the time of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Naging part ako ng destabilization during the past administration, not under President Aquino, before that. And I know a destabilization activity when I see one. So yan naging basehan kung bakit parang this looks or this sounds familiar,” Lacson said.

Ano ba aim, bakit pursigidong ipalabas o ma-prolong, ma-extend ang hearing? Isa lang naman eh, to bring down the administration,” he added.

To me, it’s not bad, it’s normal when you feel an administration is failing the Filipino people, I think it’s incumbent upon us being public officials ourselves and even a common Filipino, ordinary Filipino, na gumawa rin ng hakbang para di mapabagsak sa illegal na pamamaraan.

It was Trillanes who handled Lascañas’ and initiated the probe in the Senate committee.

According to Inquirer, Lacson thinks Trillanes was behind a destabilization plot against the current administration.

Well admittedly siya naman yung handler e. And of course sa kanya nag-report. And the other handlers whom di naman natin kilala lahat kung sino nagha- handle,” Lacson said.

But the mere act alone of going from one media outlet to another, and as I was observing pagka may hearing, napakaraming international media na nagko-cover, which is quite unusual. Marami rin tayong hearings na ginagawa rito wala tayong nakikitang masyadong international media,” he added.

INTERESTING: Archbishop Villegas admitted meeting with Peter Joemel Advincula

Lacson also commented on Trillanes' statement that exposing the truth does not mean destabilization.

Pero ano ang goal? Just the truth? Come on. We were not born yesterday. All of a sudden goal mo lang is just to expose the truth? For what reason, for what purpose? And what is the objective?

Duterte is Right: UP activists have direct links to CPP-NPA

Blogger of website, Ken See, agreed with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s statement saying that University of the Philippines activists have direct links with the Communist Party of the Philippines - New People’s Army (CPP-NPA).
Photo from Bulatlat

He discusses how there are three levels of recruitment that the rebels have.

He says that the first level of recruitment is the Makabayan bloc’s entrenchment into the UP system through influencing student politics and activism. He adds that it has led to the creation of several mass organizations. Namely, Anakbayan, Center for Nationalist Studies, League of Filipino Students, Alay-Sining, Gabriela-Youth, etc.

He says that these mass organizations conduct daily recruitment activities and stand as the first level of recruitment for the CPP-NPA.

In addition to this, he says that students who join these mass orgs are then given educational discussions of Maikling Kurso sa Lipunan at Rebolusyong Pilipino (MKLRP). Through this, these students are introduced to the works of Jose Marie Sison, the founder of the Communist Party of the Philippines.

According to him there are three essential things being taught in the educational discussions:

1. The Philippine society is semi-colonial and semi-feudal

2. Elites composed of landlords and compradors rule over vast populations of poor peasants and farmers

3. Armed struggle is the only way to end the social pyramid

Those who buy into the propaganda will then be groomed by mass org leaders to participate in rallies and further indoctrination with Marxist literature,” wrote See.

See goes on to say that the second level of recruitment is the students entering Kabataang Makabayan which, according to him, serves as a training ground of the CPP. He says the students are given leadership roles in order to prepare themselves.

The third level of the recruitment process is more strict, according to See. He said that this is where they will finally get into the CPP.

According to him, interested people will have to undergo an in-house indoctrination on the basics of the communist party. From there, they would have to immerse themselves within a far-flung communist controlled area. When this is completed, they will be considered as a new Party cadre.

The recruits may then opt to stay in the NPA, go back to UP, or be assigned to other Makabayan bloc groups. In this way, See says that the CPP is able to properly monitor and maintain order in the school and in Metro Manila.

See concludes his blog post by saying a few more things.

He says that Makabayan or National Democratic activists in UP should be kicked out of school to lessen the recruitment powers of the CPP. He says that this thought of his is in agreement with President Duterte’s thoughts.

He adds that he had stayed and UP and noticed this system working for the CPP.

Secondly he says that students proven to have ties with the CPP should be rightfully kicked out of the school.

The last thing he says is that people should not listen to the protests of student activists who call the president “fascist” and “anti-democratic”.

USec reveals PNoy was allegedly late for SAF44 meeting due to playing DOTA

The Liberal Part (LP) remains suspiciously mum as the exposé on Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairperson Andres Bautista takes its toll.

Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Undersecretay Lorraine Marie Badoy has intel on the highly private meeting LP members had on August 8, 2017 (Tuesday) at Manila Golf Club with former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas present.

Not even the waiters of the venue were allowed to go inside the room where LP held their meeting which hints at the highly confidential matters that might have been discussed considering this was during the aftermath of the Bautista scandal. Roxas, however, was observed to seem very sickly.

The interesting bit that Badoy and her fellow social media personalities picked up, though, was about former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III who was said to have delayed a meeting for hours years ago during the SAF44 controversy.

When Aquino finally did arrive for the meeting, his nephew, Josh, barged in ten minutes later and said “I beat you.”

It was said that Aquino had been playing DOTA for hours which was the reason why he was late for the important meeting.

In her full post on Facebook, Badoy said,

"Still no word from the LP about the latest hydrogen bomb pasabog of Tish Bautista ha?

I have it on good word though that Mar Roxas was in Manila Golf Club yesterday having a meeting with the LP members. And he looked real hilo. It was a closed-door meeting where not even the waiters were allowed in.

Good idea, Mar. Because when we went to Malacañang for dinner and while we waited for the President to arrive, my friends (sila Sass, RJ, Krizette, Ethel, Butch, Ahmed, Mark, Franco, etc) talked to the waiters.

They're usually zip-locked when it comes to these things but one waiter told us an ARGH story about Noynoy Aquino.

And he said that during the SAF 44 crisis, Cabinet members swooped into the private residence of the president in MP to have an emergency meeting. But Noynoy wasn't there. He made them wait for hours.

Then finally, bumaba na sha to have that meeting.

After around 10 minutes, according to this waiter, Josh comes down and goes to Noynoy and says, "Haha I beat you."

NagDOTA ampotah.

Is this true? We'll never know.

But here's the thing with Noynoy and Mar and company: is it a stretch to believe this happened?

From where I sit and from where millions of us sit, NOT REALLY. Quite the opposite in fact. Not only believable but EXPECTED.

So yeah, for once Mar got that right.

Take the waiters out of this meeting."

The last time that the country’s busiest train system had this many operational trains was on Jan. 5.

According to the MRT 3 management, this was made possible through the efforts of its officials, engineers, technicians and other personnel who worked tirelessly from Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday “to ensure a safe and convenient ride for our commuters.”
